Description

17 Church Street is a 18th-century building that has been altered. It is constructed of red brick and has two storeys with two windows. The first-floor windows are flush frame sashes with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a flush frame sash window on the left, which now has only central glazing bars. The central entrance features a wooden doorcase with shaped brackets and a flat canopy above. To the right is a shop window with a wooden case and pilasters. The former entrance on the left has been converted into a display casement. The building has a plinth, a toothed eaves band, and is topped with pantiles. Inside, there are cased beams.
