Description

No. 27 Church Street is a 17th-century former manor house constructed of red brick, featuring flat arches and a pantile roof. The building is two stories high with attics and has five sash windows on the first floor, which retain their old glazing bars. The entrance is highlighted by a pedimented doorcase with a pulvinate frieze, leading to an eight-panel door that has glazed upper panels. The building has been faced in a plain style typical of the 18th century.
