Description

This is an 18th-century cart shed situated approximately 50 metres to the east of the barn at Gateley Hall. The building has a timber frame construction with brick nogging and a steeply pitched pantile roof. It is divided into 5 compartments by freestanding, square-sectioned posts, incorporating solid braces running lengthwise and normal braces extending back to the roof ties. The building is included on the list solely for its group value.
