Description

This is a disused icehouse located 530 meters south-west of the Carmelite Monastery, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring swept entrance walls with coping that lead to a short passage. This passage opens into the interior, which has an inverted flat-bottomed cone shape made of header bond brickwork. Above this, there is an octagonal groin vault.
