Description
The Old White House is a house from the mid-18th century that was refaced around 1800 in colourwashed brick. It features a pantiled roof and has a T-shaped plan. The front range is two storeys high with a dormer attic and consists of three bays. There is a central porch supported by columns, with a tripartite sash window on either side, both featuring glazing bars and set under gauged skewback arches. On the first floor, there are two similar windows flanking a later 19th-century sash window. The facade is adorned with clasping pilasters and a parapet. The gabled roof has three gabled dormers, each containing sash windows with glazing bars. Internal gable stacks are present, and the rear of the house is two storeys tall with random windows set under segmental arches.
