Description

The garden wall at Shropham House, dating from around 1800, is constructed of flint with gault brick piers, featuring a dentil cornice and coping. The center of the wall is raised under a concave pediment, which has a roundel behind it. This area includes a gabled summer seat with an interior plaster frieze that depicts dragons. The wall returns at the west and has breaks for two gates, with the eastern gates retaining folding wrought iron gates. This wall is included for its group value with the house.
