Description

This is a former house with a shop, dating to the second half of the 18th century. In the 1980s, the ground floor was divided into two retail units with living accommodation above.

The building is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a brick stack and a roof covered in black-glazed pantiles. It is three storeys high and five bays wide. The ground floor now features two retail shopfronts from the 1980s, with plate glass doors and windows. The first floor has five two-over-two sash windows, each with a rendered and painted gauged skewback arch. The second floor has five similar sash windows, but of a shallower design. A dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The roof is gabled and incorporates a rear ridge stack, along with internal gable-end stacks to the north and south, the latter rebuilt in the 20th century.
