Description
Lloyds Bank is a building from the 18th century that has undergone alterations, including a front added in 1891. It stands three storeys tall and features four windows, constructed from red brick with stone dressings, including a balustrade parapet. The ground floor interior is modern. The garden front is finished in stucco and has sash windows with glazing bars, as well as an arched window with radial bars at the heads. At the rear, there is an early 19th-century outbuilding that is two storeys high and has connections to the Duke of Wellington. Historical deeds date back to 1760, 1793, and 1828. Lloyds Bank is part of a group that includes the Dereham Labour Party HQ, The Eagle Inn, Cosy Corner Cafe, Nos 29 to 31 (consecutive), Nos 32, 32a, 33, 34 (north and south portions), No 35, and Cowper Congregational Church.
