Description

This is a group of three houses located in a roughly L-shaped arrangement on Northaw Road West. They were likely built in the late 18th century, although there may be an earlier structure at their core. The houses are constructed of chequered red brick and have a large, plain tile mansard roof with chimney stacks along the centre and right ridges. The houses are two storeys high with attics. The eaves are detailed with dentils. The front elevation facing the road features three segmental-headed casements with wooden glazing bars; the ground floor on the left has a horizontal sash window. A doorway has been blocked on the right. Above are three-light casement windows. The west elevation has horizontal sash windows on either side of a half-glazed door within a moulded surround, with a cornice hood supported by simple, large consoles above the door. There is also a single-storey block at the rear.
