Description

The Two Brewers Public House has a timber-frame core dating back to the 16th century, with substantial additions from the mid-19th century and late 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and stucco, with a plain tile roof. It is two storeys high. The right-hand, gable-ended wing features stucco quoins and replacement sash windows in plain surrounds, topped by a trefoil-pierced bargeboard. The central single-storey section has four sash windows. Behind this is a two-bay core, originally jettied, retaining a long dragon beam on the left side. An early 19th-century sash window is located to the left, beyond a modern extension. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the streetscape.
