Description

The London Coal Duty Marker, located on the district boundary at Warrengate Road in Potters Bar, dates from 1861. It was cast by H. Grissell at the Regents Canal Ironworks. This marker is a cast iron square pier with chamfered corners and a pyramid top, which is painted white. It features the City of London crest on the necking and has the inscription '24 Vict' on the front face.
