Description

No. 34 on Fore Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features a red brick front that conceals an earlier timber-framed structure. The building has a slate roof with chimneys at both ends and stands two storeys tall. The façade includes three regularly spaced recessed sash windows and a central half-glazed door set in a shallow recess. This door is framed by a thin pilaster surround and topped with a plain hood supported by shaped brackets. The ground floor has been mostly altered with modern brickwork.
