Description
North Place is a double-pile house built in the late 17th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile, two-span roof with a wood modillioned eaves cornice. The house has two storeys and attics. On the right side, there is a two-window extension from the late 19th century that is in keeping with the original style. The left side has three casement windows and a late 18th century half-glazed porch with fluted pilasters and a frieze. A floor band runs across the entire front of the house. In approximately 1977, a two-storey recessed extension was added to the left side, designed to match the existing details. Inside, the entrance hall and the rear central ground floor room retain original panelling.
