Description
This building is a barn and coachhouse dating from the 17th or 18th century, located about 10 meters east-southeast of Yew Court Farm House. It features a timber frame that is encased in 18th-century red brick with burnt headers and has a tiled roof. The yard side includes two stable doors and three small leaded casements with cambered heads, along with an upper dovecote. The left gable end displays exposed clasped purlin framing and has a lean-to addition, while the right gable end is weatherboarded. There is a continuous 19th-century stable lean-to outshut at the rear. The coachhouse on the right is lower and also weatherboarded, having been altered in the 20th century with double doors and leaded casements added to the front. A timber clock turret with a leaded finial is present, and there is a lean-to outshut at the rear with a roof that sweeps over two entrances. The interior has not been inspected.
