Description
Holywell Lodge is an early 19th century front on a possibly older house located on Holywell Hill. The building is two storeys high and features four windows. It is constructed of red brick and has a high-pitched tiled roof. The eaves have a panelled soffit supported by brackets. The shallow, segmental sash windows have gauged brick arches and include glazing bars and margin lights set in stucco-lined reveals. The entrance features a modern doorcase with attached columns and an entablature, along with a stuccoed plinth. There is a south extension that is rendered and also two storeys tall, with two windows; the first-floor window is a casement with gothick glazing bars.
