Description

Number 50 on Holywell Hill is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed house that features a later front. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three windows. It boasts a very high-pitched tiled roof that includes two dormers with casements that have glazing bars. The first floor is roughcast and has 18th century sash windows with glazing bars set in slightly projecting box frames. The ground floor, made of painted brick, has modern doors and windows. There is also some weatherboarding visible on the first floor rear. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 36 to 58 (even).
