Description

48 Holywell Hill is a 17th century timber-framed house with an altered front. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring two windows. The building has a very high-pitched tiled roof with two dormers that contain casements with glazing bars. The first floor is tile-hung and has replaced sash windows with glazing bars set in slightly projecting box frames. The ground floor is made of brick and includes a similar window on the right and a later bay window on the left. A cornice hood on curved brackets is positioned above the central door. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 36 to 58 (even).
