Description

42 Holywell Hill is a 17th-century building that stands two storeys tall with an attic. The exterior is plastered and features a high-pitched, swept tiled roof, along with a tiled gable on the dormer. The first floor has two windows; the left window is a projecting square bay situated above a ground floor pent-house projection that has a modern window and a 19th-century door. The right window on the first floor is a modern casement. On the ground floor, the right side is weatherboarded and includes a replaced sash window with glazing bars. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 36 to 58 (even).
