Description
No. 34 Holywell Hill is a building dating from around 1700. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring four windows. The building is topped by a very high-pitched tiled roof with deep wooden eaves cornice. There are two square-headed dormers. The first-floor sash windows have gauged brick arches and glazing bars set in slightly recessed box frames, with the second window from the right being blocked. The left-hand window has cut, carved bricks in its arch. A green plaque from the Royal Insurance Company is located at the centre of the first floor. The ground floor has a modern shop front. No. 34 forms a group with No. 32A.
