Description
68 Holywell Hill is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall with an attic and features two windows. It is constructed of red brick and has a brick cornice. The roof is low-pitched and covered with slate, topped by a pediment that includes a central window. The attic and second-floor sash windows have gauged, flat brick arches and glazing bars. The first floor has French windows with margin lights that open onto a balcony, which is adorned with a wood-shingled, swept canopy and a trellis frieze supported by slender wood columns with a picketed rail. On the ground floor, to the left, there is a splay bay window with wood pilasters and an entablature. The entrance features a prostyle Doric porch with fluted columns and a fluted frieze, leading to a panelled door and jambs.
