Description
No. 32 St Peter's Street is an early 18th century house featuring two storeys and an attic, with seven windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof that includes two square dormers and a central chimney stack. The building is constructed from brown brick with red brick dressings, and it has a cemented parapet that likely replaced an earlier cornice and brick parapet. The plinth is cement rendered, and the sash windows are set in flush, boxed frames with gauged, segmental brick arches. The second and fifth windows from the left on the first floor are blocked.
At the front, there is a large prostyle porch supported by Tuscan columns, topped with an entablature and pediment. The cornice and pediment feature modillions and dentils. The main door consists of six fielded panels, and there is a second door with a moulded architrave inserted on the right.
Nos. 28 to 46 (even) and No. 50 form a group with this building.
