Description

Little Barn is a structure that likely dates back to the 16th century. It was originally a smaller barn from Great Hormead near Buntingford and was re-erected in 1964. The exterior is faced with modern brick and tile, and windows have been inserted. Inside, the barn features four bays, an arch-braced tie-beam, and a queen-post roof. The timbers used are heavier than those found in the larger barn, and the studding is closer and more even.
