Description

Rose Cottage is a house that dates from the late 17th century, with early to mid-19th century casing. It features a timber frame with painted weatherboarding and has a steeply pitched plain tile roof. An internal red brick stack is located on the left gable end, which has two square shafts with base and cap courses. The house has one storey and an attic. There are two doors; the right door leads into a 20th-century conservatory, while the left door is recessed. To the right of the doors is a two-light casement window, and above this is a gabled casement dormer. Additionally, there is a lean-to structure from the 18th or 19th century on the left end of the building.
