Description
Hill End Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the 15th century, with a right extension added in the early to mid-19th century and a lower extension on the left from the late 19th century. The central part of the building features a timber frame, with a plastered ground floor and a roughcast upper floor. It has a deep range topped with a steep half-hipped machine tile roof. The upper floor includes two 20th-century casement windows, while the ground floor has a larger casement window and a plank door. The right wing has a high plastered ground floor with one recessed sash window. The left wing has a narrow hipped roof and a single upper casement window. The central section contains two 3-meter bays, which were likely part of the cross wing of an open hall.
