Description
The stable and granary located immediately north of the west barn at Bride Hall dates from the late 17th century. This two-storey building features a red brick ground floor and a weatherboarded upper floor, topped with a steeply pitched plain tile roof. On the east side, there are four square openings in the brickwork, each fitted with slatted ventilators from the 17th or 18th century. The central entrance has a stable door from the 18th century, framed by a segmental relieving arch. The upper floor includes small 20th-century windows and one early hoist door. The right end of the block is an addition from the early 19th century. Inside, the structure retains stable bays from the 18th century.
