Description

Holly Bush Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid-17th century. It features an exposed timber frame, with the ground floor constructed of painted brick, plaster, and weatherboarding. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has a dark red brick chimney stack with four square flues located near the gable end. The building may have originally included another bay facing the road. It is two storeys high, with the upper floor on the east side having two small 19th-century glazing bar casements, while the ground floor contains a door and twin casements. The rear elevation also has a door and twin casement. Inside, there is a staircase attached to the stack.
