Description

Pryton Lodge is an early to mid-19th century house situated set back from Hill Street, facing east up an access lane. The building is two storeys high with three windows. It has a moderately pitched, hipped slate roof. The walls are of red brick with random blue headers, and the details are in stucco, including quoins, alternating block window jambs, a first-floor sill band, and keystones to the segmental, gauged brick arches over the first-floor sash windows, which contain glazing bars. The ground floor windows are full-length casements which open onto a loggia with a roof of fish-scale slates, supported by slender cast iron columns with foliated capitals and bases.
