Description

A 17th-century barn located at Dyes Farm. It is a timber-frame structure with a red brick sill, and it is weatherboarded. The barn has a steep-pitched roof, now covered in corrugated sheeting. The barn faces west and is three bays wide, featuring double doors in the middle bay. A lean-to outshut is attached to the east side, within the same bay. Notable features include jowled posts and a clasped-purlin roof with vertical queen-struts.
