Description
These are farm buildings from the early 18th century, with alterations to the barn roof made in the early 19th century. The structures are timber-framed and covered in dark weatherboarding, featuring steeply pitched roofs on two stable buildings at the eastern end, while the barn at the western end and a tall building to its east have corrugated asbestos roofs. The buildings form an L-shaped group that faces into a yard and backs onto the road west of the farm gateway.
To the west, there is a four-bay barn that faces east with its gable towards the road. Next to it is a two-storey square building that includes a hay loft in the upper section, followed by a single-storey stable with a slate roof that is laid into gaps between individual slates in each course. At the eastern end, there is a lower two-bay stable. The buildings feature unjowled posts and inclined queen-posts supporting clasped-purlin roofs. These farm buildings are included for their group value.
