Description

No 1, John Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of whitewashed brick, topped with a hipped roof covered in Welsh slate and featuring an eaves cornice. The building stands three storeys tall and has three sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals beneath flat arches. The ground floor features wide windows, while the first and second floors on the left include convex quadrant windows. There are two chimneystacks with gault brick octagonal joined shafts. No 1, along with No 2, is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 32 (even) and No 26A on High Street.
