Description

No. 17 Carolgate is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features end stacks and a decorative eaves cornice made of diagonal-set and dentil brick. The facade includes two segmental-headed windows, one of which is blocked and lacks glazing bars. The shop front has been altered in the mid-19th century and again in modern times. No. 17, along with No. 19, is part of a group of buildings.
