Description

No 5 Carolgate is a mid-19th century building that stands three storeys tall and is constructed of brick. It features three windows on the upper floors, each set in shouldered surrounds with brackets at the sills. The top floor windows are hung sashes with glazing bars. The first floor windows have segmental-headed shouldered surrounds with keystones and a band at the sills. The ground floor has a modern shop front. No 5 is part of a group with Nos 7 and 9, which are also of local interest.
