Description
No 2 John Street is a mid-19th century building constructed from gault brick and knapped flint rubble, topped with a Welsh slate roof that features wide eaves and a front gable. The building stands three storeys high. The ground floor has a modern shop window, while the first floor window is mostly blocked, leaving only a small modern window. The second floor features a sash window with glazing bars set in reveals beneath a flat arch. The side elevations are weatherboarded, and there is a two-storey pentice-roofed wing on the left. No 2 John Street is part of a group that includes Nos 1 and 2, as well as Nos 2 to 32 (even) and No 26A on High Street.
