Description

This former aisled barn, located about 20 meters north of Old Manor Farm House, dates from the 17th or 18th century and is currently used as a storage shed. It features a timber frame set on a base of flint and brick, with weatherboarding and a steeply pitched corrugated sheet roof. The barn consists of three bays with aisles on both sides and has central doors leading to the yard. Inside, there are jowled arcade posts with arched braces connecting to the tie beams and arcade plates. The structure also includes collars clasping purlins and some curved windbraces. This building is included for its group value.
