Description
Mill End Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with a roughcast exterior and a steeply pitched machine-tiled roof. The house has a three-cell lobby entry and is two storeys high.
On the ground floor, there is a projecting gabled entrance porch with a side door located to the right of the centre. To the right of the porch is a large 20th-century three-light casement window, while to the left are a 20th-century two-light casement and a smaller earlier two-light casement. The first floor has three three-light flush frame casements. The original ridge stack, located behind the entrance, has two diagonal flues, and there is an internal stack at the left end. The interior displays exposed plates and purlins, along with chamfered binding beams. Additionally, there is a conservatory lean-to addition. The right end features 20th-century casements, and at the rear, there is a small casement window and a lean-to outshut that has been added.
