Description
Bury Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It has a timber frame and is rendered, featuring a steeply pitched half hipped thatched roof. The building has a four-window front and is two storeys high, with a plinth. The original entrance has been blocked, and it now has 20th-century flush frame small pane casements. There is a central axial ridge stack and one-storey pantiled lean-to outshut additions on the gable ends, with the entrance now located in the right return. There is also an extruded later stack at the rear left and a thatched lean-to outshut addition at the rear centre. The interior has not been inspected.
