Description
Nos 3 and 3A on Tilehouse Street are a medieval timber-framed house dating back to the 15th century. It has two storeys, with the upper storey overhanging and a steep tiled roof that features a dormer. The building has a tall chimney stack with three square shafts arranged diagonally. The ground floor is faced with brick, while the upper floor showcases herring-bone pargetting. There are two three-sided canted bay windows on the ground floor and three light sash windows on the upper floor, all of which have small squares at the top filled with crown glass.
