Description

Dog Kennel Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse, believed to have been built in 1776, with later 19th-century alterations. The building is constructed of red brick, featuring a chequered pattern with black headers in Flemish bond, and is topped with steep old red tile roofs. This large, two-storey, double-pile house faces south and has projections at the rear. The west side door is accessed through a low extension. The south front has four first-floor windows with segmental arches and two-light cast iron lattice casements. To the left of the door, there is a canted bay window on the ground floor.
