Medium sized country house. Completed c1841 in a late Georgian style. Chequered red brick. Banded brick piers from ground to eaves at angles. Slate hipped roof. 2:3:2 camber-headed sash windows, those of ground floor with stucco key blocks. 2 storeys over cellar. Floor band. Moulded wooden eaves, the centre slightly projecting and with modillions. Stucco Tuscan porch with paired columns and pilasters. 3 steps to half-qlazed door with tall segmental-headed fan. S elevation with canted window bay. Rear elevation is 5 windows, those on right side dummy. Outer windows are triple-hung sashes. Central 1st floor Diocletian window. Interior has C18-style dogleg staircase. Service range adjoins on N to form L plan. 6 glazing bar casements. Higher 2-window centre. Eaves hipped dormers (Pevsner (1977)).
