Description

Primrose Cottage, originally a house and now divided into two houses, likely dates to the 17th century or earlier, with a 19th-century extension to the rear and northeast, and a 20th-century projecting gable extension to the northwest. The house is timber-framed and has roughcast rendering, with roughcast for the extensions. It has steeply pitched slate roofs. The original part of the house faces west and has two bays and one and a half storeys, with end chimneys. It features two windows, two plank doors, and two swept dormers set into the eaves. There are projecting end gable chimneys at each end. A gabled extension to the northwest has a window on each floor. The windows are flush casements, and the doors are plank.
