Description
No. 133 High Street is a house that was once used as dwellings, dating from the mid to late 17th century. It was raised and altered in the late 18th century and underwent further changes in the 20th century. The building has a timber frame with later red brick additions and is rendered. It features a tiled roof and consists of two cells, standing one storey and attic high, which has been raised to two storeys at the front. There is a plinth, with the entrance located to the left of centre. A previously existing entrance to the right has been blocked and is now a single light window. The windows are 20th-century two-light small pane flush frame casements. The right end has an internal stack, while the left end stack, originally external, is now situated in the lower roof of No. 129. The rear has lower eaves. Inside, the building displays exposed framing with curved passing tension braces, jowled posts, and stop-chamfered bearers.
