TL 23 SE WALLINGTON THE STREET (East side) 6/157 Barn at Manor Farm - 80 m north west of Farmhouse

Aisled barn. "Built 1786 E.F. Farmer" inscribed on tie beam to right of entrance. Timber frame, weatherboarded, brick plinth, slate gambrel roof. 4 bays. Large projecting gabled threshing bay to N in 3rd bay from road Single window opening in gable end wall to road. Straight tie beam truss with curved struts to clasped purlins. Longitudinal curved braces from arcade plates to posts and lateral braces from tie beams to lightly jowled posts. Braced aisle tie beams from wall plates to arcade posts.
