Description

The Burne Monument, located about 10 meters north of the Church of St. John the Baptist, is an early 19th-century urn on a pedestal made of ashlar stone. The pedestal features a base and cornice, with inscribed raised panels that detail the life and military campaigns of General R. Burne, who died in 1823. The urn itself is adorned with decorative fluting and a frieze.
