Description
The barns and stabling at Mymms Hall Farm, located about 70 meters north of the house, date from the 17th or 18th century. They feature a timber frame construction, weatherboarded on a brick base with brick end walls, and have a corrugated asbestos roof. The structure consists of seven bays. Inside, there are queen struts and clasp purlins, with straight braces to the tie beams using lap joints. To the east, there is a lean-to brick extension. These buildings are included for their group value with the attached slate-roofed lower range of stables to the east and the rat-trap bonded stock brick barn further east. Together, these structures form a half H shape on plan.
