Description
Quinns is a house dating from the early 19th century, which incorporates an earlier timber frame and features a late 19th-century rear extension. It was converted into a shop in the early 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick and has a half-hipped slate roof. It stands two storeys tall. The street-facing elevation includes two 8/8 sash windows on the first floor and a ground floor double shop front with fluted pilasters and a central double door, topped with a fascia and cornice. A moulded wooden eaves cornice runs along the north side, where there is also an 8/8 sash window on the first floor. The parallel rear extension features first-floor sash windows and a ground floor fixed pane window, with stone quoins in the lintels.
