Description
The farmhouse at Moor Hall Farm is an early 19th-century building that incorporates a 17th-century range at the rear. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a low-pitched slate roof that projects at the front, with a wide boarded soffit. The roof extends to the rear as a catslide over a brick-cased timber-framed range. The house is two stories tall with a cellar and has a central entrance passage plan, facing west. At the rear, there is an older two-story block that is at a lower level.
A gabled single-storey brewhouse made of brick and slate is located at the rear, which has an internal gable chimney and an interior that is open to the roof. The front of the house is symmetrical with three windows, pilasters at the corners, and a central door. The windows are recessed sash windows with eight over eight panes and flat gauged arches. The central door features a deep segmental arch, a four-panel moulded design, a panelled doorcase, and a radiating fanlight above it. There are projecting gable chimneys, two sash windows, and two false windows on the north gable.
