Description

Kimbers Cottage and Firtrees is a 17th-century house that has been divided into two separate homes. The building is timber-framed and faces north, featuring symmetrical extensions at both ends. It has a plastered exterior with panelled pargetting above an irregular black painted plinth, which has been renewed. The roof is gabled and covered with old red tiles, and there is a central chimney made of red brick. The house has four dormers with raking roofs and a four-window front. The lower, one and a half storey extensions on each end project forward from the main structure and have modern small casement windows.
