Description

No. 43 High Road is an 18th-century house constructed of red brick with an old red tile roof. It features a two-room gable chimney plan and faces south. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with three windows. There is a plinth and a floor band, and the ground floor windows are flush 2-light casements with a narrow window located above the door. The windows have segmental arches with black headers. The door is set beneath a lean-to tiled canopy supported by brackets.
