Description
The White Horse Inn is a public house dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations. It features a timber frame that is plastered, along with a weatherboarded apron and a rear wing. The building has steep old red tile roofs and is designed with a two-room central chimney lobby-entry plan, along with a two-storey rear wing. The front elevation faces west and has two storeys with two windows. There is moulded timber at the first floor level, where the centre is cut out for a former signboard. The first floor has flush sash windows with 8/8 panes. Central to the front are twin doors with a simple surround. To the right, there are two 2-light casement windows with small panes, and to the left, there is a small canted bay window featuring sashes and a painted brick base. Inside, the building has chamfered axial beams and exposed square joists.
