Description

The barn at Judds is an 18th-century structure located in Great Hormead. It features a timber frame set on a brick sill, with dark weatherboarding and a hipped thatched roof. The barn is low and L-shaped, with a three-bay southern range that has a clasped purlin roof. The northern range, which is two bays, is positioned at right angles to the south range and has a lower floor level at the eastern end. Access to the southern range is through double doors, while the northern range has a single boarded door. This barn is included for its group value.
